The Cupidity cast's achievements since filming Cupidity

 

JAMES GILMARTIN
has earned the best Actor award at the 2004 Queens International Film Festival and was nominated for Best Actor for CUPIDITY at the New York Independent Film Festival. He starred in the new TV pilot ACTING CLASS, directed by John Gallagher, produced by Ron Shetler, and executive produced by Gregory Segal. At the Oldenburg Film Festival at the German premiere of CUPIDITY, acted in the new feature film BIG IN GERMANY, directed by Dan MIrvish, co-founder of the Slamdance Film Festival.

BETHANY EMERSON
was nominated for Best Actress for CUPIDITY at the New York Independent Film Festival.

MICHELE CONIGLIO
was awarded Best Actress for CUPIDITY at the NY Independent Film Festival, and has been cast in a starring role in the new indie feature THE MENTOR. She was featured in Dan MIrvish’s BIG IN GERMANY.

STEVE STANULIS
appears in THE MANCHURIAN CANDIDATE with Denzel Washington and THE INTERPRETER with Sean Penn and Nicole Kidman. On TV, he’s been a guest on LAW AND ORDER: SVU with Ice T, RESCUE ME and THE JURY.

GLEN HOWARD
stars in the title role of John Gallagher’s new feature film VICTOR, co-starring CUPIDITY co-stars Heidi Kristoffer and Roxanne Racitano.

JARED MILLER
won the Best Supporting Actor award for CUPIDITY at the NY Indie Film Festival, and currently enjoys a recurring role on LAW AND ORDER. At the Oldenburg Film Festival with CUPIDITY, Jared was featured in BIG IN GERMANY, and upon his return to New York, co-starred in John Gallagher’s TV pilot ACTING CLASS. Jared has recently signed with Renee Glicker of About Artists Agency and is also being represented by Abrams Artists for Voice-Overs.

NATALIE HOWE
starred as nine different characters in John Gallagher’s short film TIMELESS, which won Best Film and Best Actress for Natalie at the NYC Home Film Festival, and was showcased at the Oldenburg Film Festival in Germany … where Natalie was also featured with her castmates in Dan MIrvish's BIG IN GERMANY. Natalie co-starred in John Gallagher’s ACTING CLASS TV pilot, and appears in the Off-Broadway production of BIRDIE’S BACHELORETTE PARTY.

CURTIS HANNUM’s
award-winning improv comedy THE REAL OLD TESTAMENT, which he co-directed and stars as “God,” is playing at select theatres after a successful festival run.

KEVIN HERSH
Features as the Vice President of the United States in the promo for the MANHATTAN SHORT FILM FESTIVAL. Directed by Michael Abt, the promo is called EXIT STRATEGY. A political jibe at the current administration. Kevin also co-stars in the new NYC indie "BANGED-UP". A comedy directed by Tim Duquette. Kevin (PHIL) is an Irish thug from Brooklyn who gives his boys "to-do lists"- usually while he is stone drunk. Kevin also co-stars in the new indie feature JAR, starred on stage in THE WEIR and ALL ABOUT EVE. Kevin also appeared on stage as MARTY in a regional reader's theatre production in January '06. Kevin will also be featured on stage as Shelly Levene in GLENGARRY GLEN ROSS. He appears in several commercials and industrials and also co-produced John Gallagher’s award-winning short TIMELESS. Kevin was featured in Dan Mirvish’s BIG IN GERMANY and stars as the acting teacher in John Gallagher’s ACTING CLASS TV pilot.

ALEXANDRIA HUNTER
produced John Gallagher's award-winning short TIMELESS.

SHAE KENNEDY
was nominated for Best Supporting Actress for CUPIDITY at the New York Independent Film Festival. She starred in the multiple award-winning short SPIDER-MEN and is in her third season at the Williamstown Theatre Festival. She is also writing her one-woman show.

HEIDI KRISTOFFER
a principal on AS THE WORLD TURNS, was featured in a photo layout in the May issue of Stuff, promoting her hit Off-Broadway show PIECES (OF ASS), which also enjoyed a four-month run in Los Angeles. She stars in the cult horror film SCREAMING DEAD, the docu-comedy GAMES PEOPLE PLAY, and the new independent feature JAR. Heidi also presented John Gallagher, Michele Coniglio and Jared Miller with their awards at the New York Independent Film Festival awards ceremony at Plaid nightclub on June 26, 2004. Heidi played the lead in John Gallagher’s ACTING CLASS TV pilot, and stars in John’s next feature film, VICTOR, opposite Glen Howard.

DESIREE MAUMUS
starred in TWELFTH NIGHT at the Illinois Repertory Theatre, and stars in the new short film THE PRICE OF LIFE. Also featured on HBO's TAXICAB CONFESSIONS.

JENAH PELLEY
was a guest at the Tel Aviv International Film Festival with her film KING HELENA, which she wrote, directed, edited and played the starring role. Jenah stars in the new short ATONING IN ERNEST, which she co-wrote based on her play. She also edited John Gallagher’s TIMELESS.

ROXANNE RACITANO
co-stars in John Gallagher’s new feature film VICTOR.

MEREDITH ROSS
starred in the independent feature FRIENDS LIKE THESE, which screened at the 2004 Cinevegas Film Festival in Las Vegas; co-starred in the indie feature MAMA’S BOY; and starred on stage in ANDY AND EDIE at Manhattan’s Shetler Theatre.

BRIANNE BERKSON
was cast by Judy Henderson in the new independent film AMERICAN BRAINWASH.

ADRIENNE FRANCISCUS
was production coordinator on the movie LOBSTER FARM starring Danny Aiello; worked on Missy Elliott’s national tour; is working in Munich, Berlin, Bavaria and Paris on the Travel Channel’s Passport to Europe series for director Sylvia Caminer (producer of John Gallagher’s BLUE MOON, THE DELI and MEN LIE; and is in pre-production producing her first feature film, PALO E SANTO, in Puerto Rico. She was also Script Supervisor on the ACTING CLASS TV pilot.

STEPHANYE DUSSUD
starred in three short films –WARRIORS ON THE MOON, CHECKMATE and LUCAS AND THE PHONE BOOTH – and appears on the Ensemble Studio Theatre Main Stage on July 9th, 10th, 16th and 17th in SHADOW TAG, which she also choreographs. She produced the short film BOUTIQUE, which screened at the Seattle and Newport Film Festivals, and was production supervisor on the MTV/VH1/BET special PRINCE: LIVE AT WEBSTER HALL.

MAGGIE WAGNER
stars in the feature THE TALENT GIVEN US, which won the Jury Prize at the Cinevegas Film Festival and the Audience Award at Dances with Films, and screened at the 2005 Sundance Film Festival. She also co-stars in Henry Jaglom’s GOING SHOPPING.

MICHAEL REICHMAN
line-produced John Gallagher’s award-winning TIMELESS. He was Associate Producer and Assistant Director on the new feature WHY GEORGE? and Assistant Director on the new feature THE INTERVENTION, starring Mary Stuart Masterson, Olympia Dukakis and Lainie Kazan, directed by Peter Masterson (the Oscar-winning THE TRIP TO BOUNTIFUL). He is working with producer Greg Segal on the feature MY BROTHER, starring Vanessa Williams, currently filming in New York City.

MIRANDA REINFELDT
has been featured on GUIDING LIGHT and AS THE WORLD TURNS.

HEMKY MADERA
appeared in the award-winning indie feature DREAMING OF JULIA with Harvey Keitel.

WHITNEY TODD
was accepted into the prestigious Neighborhood Playhouse in Manhattan, with a recommendation from Playhouse teacher Ron Shetler after he saw her performance in CUPIDITY at the world premiere.

LAURA FAY LEWIS
performs regularly with her band The Blisstones, and stars in a new short film BALLAD OF CHERRY AND STARBUCKLE, which she wrote and directed.

NIKKI BOHANNON
co-starred in the horror comedy feature STRANGE THINGS HAPPEN AT SUNDOWN.

EMILY TURNER
appeared in the Sci-Fi Channel mini-series FIVE MINUTES TO MIDNIGHT and the TV show THE FIFTH WHEEL. At the Oldenburg Film Festival in Germany with CUPIDITY, Emily was featured in Dan Mirvish’s BIG IN GERMANY.

Julianna Segalla
was featured in BIG IN GERMANY, filmed at the Oldenburg Film Festival in Germany.

JESSICA ARINELLA
appeared in the feature film THE PINK HOUSE and on the TV series LAW AND ORDER.

LORI SPADA
created her own Manhattan dance company -- which she describes as “Extreme Ballet” – performing original works. She will work again with John Gallagher as choreographer on his new feature VICTOR.

LINDA BRADT
appeared in THE STEPFORD WIVES and on THE SOPRANOS and THE DAVE CHAPPELLE SHOW.

JEFF MEHLMAN
writes and directs the new film MANDELA WAS LATE, based on an Esquire article by his brother Peter Mehlman.
